ITINERARY 

Day 1: Rishikesh to Sagar Village (Drive)

We begin with a scenic road journey from Rishikesh to Sagar village, which takes around 8–9 hours. It’s a relaxed day with comfortable homestay accommodation at the base village. Evening at leisure to rest and get familiar with the local vibe.

Day 2: Trek from Sagar to Lyuti

The trek starts! Today’s route takes you through dense oak and rhododendron forests, streams, and waterfalls. One of the highlights of this day is walking through the peaceful Pung Bugyal, a beautiful meadow that suddenly opens up in the middle of the forest. We halt at Lyuti, a serene resting point for the night.

Day 3: Lyuti to Rudranath Temple

After breakfast, we begin the most scenic part of the trek—ascending through the vast Panar Bugyal. These alpine meadows offer sweeping views of the Himalayas, and at many points, you’ll be walking above the clouds. By late afternoon, we reach Rudranath Temple. After settling in, we attend the evening Aarti, a calm and spiritual moment under the open sky.

Day 4: Rudranath to Sagar Village (Trek Down)

After a relaxed morning, we begin our descent back to Sagar via the same scenic route. With lighter packs and gravity on our side, the trail feels easier. We spend the night again at the base village.

Day 5: Sagar to Rishikesh (Drive)

Post breakfast, we begin our drive back to Rishikesh. The ride is filled with memories of the forest, bugyals, and the stillness of the Rudranath temple.
